Reading While Knitting

Nothing complicated; nothing too exciting, but yes, I do knit while I read. As well as during many other domestic activities.

Nothing much to show

I woke up this morning from a dream about being part of a performance-enhancing drug scandal at the boarding school I attended. (Note: I did not attend boarding school.) It was complete with hypodermic needles, incriminating receipts, teachers who couldn't spell -- what word starts with nie- and ends with -le? The funniest part? It was a musical performance that the drugs were enhancing! Dream puns.

Zero knitting content, but my shopping is done (I think). Now there's the wrapping, the mailing -- I'm not that ahead -- the annual trip to the Christmas Carousel in Berkeley, in other words, just the fun stuff. We even made gingerbread houses.

So, my blogiversary is coming up. I'm not able to think of anything too exciting to mark it, but I'm open to suggestions.

I hope everyone's Christmas/Hanukka/Kwanzaa/Solstice/Winter Lights/no special day celebrations are filled with light and love.

:::sigh::: R says, "See, Stefani loves her kids. They get to make gingerbread houses." Subtle she is not. To be fair, she has been requesting this since about October...

Anyway, it's nice to see all of your kids. :)

Your dreams sound as weird as mine do ;)Kudos on finishing the shopping- I have one gift left to pick up, only because the kid is a sneak, so I wait until the last minute.
Christmas Carousel? I've never heard of this- I grew up in Berkeley & my folks are still there- but of course I've been gone for a just few *cough* years

Oh, what a funny dream! I like the really random ones with plotlines and everything.

The holidays are so much fun, but there's always so very much to do as well. No blogiversary ideas. I never know what to do with things like that.

Have the happiest of holidays!

Yay! Gingerbread houses! I made gingerbread cutouts and spent most of today decorating them. Your Things look like they're having a blast.
