LOL .... gotta love a photo post that makes perfect sense to those who read your blog, but will totally confound those who find you by googling "pimp"!

Hoorah for the camera! Lovely, lovely shots.
Theh pimp thing is "cultural". I see a lot of similar stuff among perfectly nice, law-abiding, kind-hearted folk at work.
But I still wouldn't go in a neighborhood E wants you to avoid after 7. Or even before 7, without back up. I've seen enough Oaktown violence, lately.
Yay, camera! Who needs text-heavy posts when you have so many gorgeous photos? I love the kids with the proprietary arms around the pumpkins. Gorgeous all around (knitting, gardening, and Things!). As for Mr. Oftheyear, wow. It's not that I thought you were making it up, but it's something to see it in print.
Such a relief, to be able to capture things in good detail on camera again! Hooray for you!
I was about a year without a good camera, and about three months without a camera AT ALL, back in 2005 or so. It was horrible.
I'm glad you've got your camera again and I hope your car is back up and running soon!
Great photos!
