Reading While Knitting

Nothing complicated; nothing too exciting, but yes, I do knit while I read. As well as during many other domestic activities.

A fair Fair

The first concert for three of my four children, all of whom ended up down in what passed for a mosh pit, prizes for both me and my sister for our entries, and lovely weather. We couldn't have asked for more. Except maybe fewer spinny rides. Click to make the collage bigger, if you wanna see.

Hey! That blue ribbon looks suspiciously close to your sweater! Congratulations. Very nice!

I actually think the blue ribbon is for the next over thing - but if it is for mine, I'll fall over. It's a "best in class" ribbon, and you can see the little stickers on the left hand card, on top of the ribbon. For a leather briefcase, I think.

Really, the finishing on this sweater just stunk. So any 1st place (in class) is great!

I'm fairly certain that's your name on the little white card.

Congratulations! It really is gorgeous. What fun...we've never been to the Alameda County Fair...it's probably about time. I'd like to see it there in person.

Congrats on your 1st place on that sweater! What an accomplishment. I also enjoyed the photo montage of your fun outing.

It was a fun day. I was sorry we had to leave early and I missed the Soup--but I did see the Sweater! Congrats!

I still wish they would display the projects in their categories. It would be fun to see who you left in the dust.
